As a part of the collaborative pastoral plan, the Mary, Queen of Martyrs, has dedicated to developing a program, grounded in education, to foster vocations of all kinds, including to the priesthood. Please indicate your interest in joining a committee to help with this effort. The committee will begin in prayer and will be led by our pastor.
Here is our Prayer for Vocations

Within our own parish, we have been privileged to have one of our own parishioners answer his call to vocation. Dan is entering his final year of diaconate formation. Dan and his wife, Anne, have been members of St. Peter's since 2016. Many of you will recognize Ann as a lector at the 9:30 am Sunday Mass and hear Dan's voice in the tenor section of the choir at the same Mass. Others of you will know both Anne and Dan from the other ministries in which they participate.
A vocation to the permanent diaconate often comes to married men, most of whom have a family and full-time jobs. It just so happens that Dan's discernment began in earnest after he retired from the Navy. Read Dan's Story-- Dan's Own Words
