The Reverend Joseph Raeke, or Father Joe as he likes to be known, is the pastor of St. Peter Church and St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church in Plymouth and Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Carver.
Raeke, a Boston native, took over as pastor on June 1, 2018 after Rev. Bill Williams retired. Prior to this assignment he had been pastor of the Brockton Tri-Collaborative of Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Edith Stein, and Christ The King Parishes.
Raeke grew up in Brighton and went to Boston College High School before attending St. John’s Seminary. His parents lived in Manomet while he was in the seminary, so he visited locally on his days off.
“Being in that church and thinking I just might be able to be pastor here was exciting, and so now that I have these three parishes, I feel very much at home,” Raeke said.
