Science and Religion: Just Chance or Intelligent Design?
Harvard trained astrophysicist and published contributor to the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, Fr. Paul Soper, will be speaking about science, astrophysics, and religion.

Father Paul is the Secretary for Evangelization and Discipleship for the Archdiocese of Boston, as well as the Director of Pastoral Planning. After studyingastrophysics and astronomy at Harvard, he decided to become a priest after being directly asked to consider a vocation.
He enrolled at St. John's Seminary and was ordained in 1990. He enjoys hobby electronics, computer programming, crossword puzzles, and recreational mathematics. From time to time he publishes a paper, with a team from the Harvard/Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics – the most recent one concerns Earth and Planetary Astrophysics and is titled: “On the 'Scattered' Inclinations in the Kuiper Belt”
