Father Sean Connor, prior to being ordained in 2001, was a Marshfield Police Officer, a Boston/Quincy Private Investigator and a certified trainer for MA Emergency Management and the Red Cross. As the Chaplain for the Boston Police Department, he was quite involved in ministry during the tragic events of the Boston Marathon bombing and with the family of Martin Richard.
Born in Brockton, raised in Marshfield with close ties to Dorchester, Father Connor, years ago, was heading toward marriage, kids, and a life as a police officer. A papal appeal changed all that. It was an about-face that took him on journey of almost 17 years.
Father is now pastor of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in Weymouth/Braintree. While with the Boston Police Department, he realized what he suspected since he was a young man… that there was a higher calling.
Father Sean is one of 6 children of Myles “Joe” Connor a former Milton Police Sargeant.
Come for a burger and a GREAT talk!!
